Taste Participants - New Members

We would be pleased to have your participation in the 2017 Taste of Huntsville, an annual event hosted by the Huntsville Madison County Hospitality Association with proceeds benefiting two local charities. This year, the charities selected are Merrimack Hall Performing Arts Center and Serving Hope, Inc. 

Event is scheduled for Thursday evening, October 19th from 5:30 till 8 pm. It will be held at the Von Braun Center in the South Hall.

Huntsville’s Premier Event traditionally hosts 1300-1500 attendees with 50+ restaurants, caterers, food trucks, breweries, and suppliers providing food and beverage samples to the attendees. Each year we have an exciting THEME to our event, and this year we are bringing back a fan favorite - "Tailgate with a Taste". More details will be provided as we get closer to the event, but just know that this particular theme brings out the competitor in us all including our attendees!

We'll also have some exciting Giveaways included as a part of our Event this year to add some excitement to the evening, along with some entertainment! Lots of ideas are rolling in for a NEW and REFRESHED Taste of Huntsville Event, so we hope you jump in and join us as a participant this year! This is a GREAT way to showcase your establishment's FINEST eats and drinks, especially if you are NEW to the Huntsville Market or possibly refreshing your MENU with new items. 

The Participation Fee is $275. However, EARLY REGISTRATION FEE is only $200 and includes a membership into the Huntsville/Madison County Hospitality Association for the remainder of this calendar year!

The Huntsville Madison County Hospitality Association will provide advertising -  listing the food and beverage participants in the form of Posters, Website, Social Media Channels, Check Presenters, and Local Media Opportunities. We have an exciting Promotion Planned with our Radio Advertising Partners at Rocket City Broadcasting (Star 99.1, Rocket 95.1, & The Beat 98.1), so don't miss out on signing up EARLY to take advantage of this opportunity!

APPLICATION DEADLINE

Deadline To Sign Up And Be Included In Advertising Is September 7, 2017. DON'T DELAY!

Please complete the following Form and remit payment during checkout process or click on "bypass payment" during checkout, and we will invoice you. Participation Fee must be received by September 7th to be included in advertising. This is a major benefit of participating in the Taste, so don't delay in getting registered / paid.

 

You will be providing an estimated quantity of 800 (2oz portions) better known as a “TASTE” for each item you serve. We recommend at least one Entrée item.

SERVING FOR APPROXIMATELY 3 HOURS (5:30PM– 8:00PM)

Hospitality Association will Provide:

  • One (1) 8FT Presentation Table with Plastic Cover. Table Skirting upon request from VBC
  • One (1) 8FT “Behind the Scenes” Work Table
  • Two (2) Chairs
  • Paper Products for Taste Attendees—Plates, Forks, Knives, Spoons, Napkins

 

Particpant Responsible For:

  • All Food or Drink Items you plan to serve
  • All Items Needed to Display and Serve (chaffers, serving tongs, spoons, etc)
  • Appropriate Staffing During the Event (3-4 People Is Typical For Booth Staffing)
  • Decorations To Enhance/ Incorporate The Event Theme For Your Booth
  • Any Marketing Materials You Wish to Hand Out (coupons, flyers, etc.)
  • All Food To Be Prepared Offsite. Cooking May Not Take Place Onsite.
  • Hot Boxes May Be Available at venue by request
  • Any Specialty Serving Containers (Mini Cups, etc)
  • Set Up and Clean Up of Booth During the Designated Times (Given Closer To Event)
